Andrea Wiseman - Professional Photographer

:) This is something i love to hear! At long last after 2 long years as a student i am now a fully qualified photographer. With bookings flooding in things couldn't be better! This is just a small preview of work i've been doing over the last few weeks...

Children's Portraits are definately where my speciality lies, these gorgeous children make my job very enjoyable.

12 day old Jacob was a complete star infront of the camera

Big sister Kaelyn took good care of her baby brother Aaran during their shoot.

After playing on the trampoline Erin was ready to pose!

More cute kids to follow!! xx

Babies, Babies, Babies!

This week i've had a few shoots with young Children which i have absolutely loved. Here are a couple of the images for a wee preview.

This weekend i am up in Macduff for the 3rd COAST Festival. The show has been brilliant for publicity and to show off some of my work that hasn't been displayed before. If you are around the area drop in and visit me! x

Ok so its been a good few weeks since i updated this blog as things have been soooo hectic. Between college and shoots i just haven't had the time! With only a few weeks left of college before i graduate things are getting extremely stressful. I have 2 exhibitions coming up: one for college and another for this years COAST festival. The image below is a self portrait i did for my college exhibition. To be honest i'm not the most confident of girls when it comes to my looks so this was a real challenge for me. I did some post production editing just to hide my flaws so i'm reasonably happy with the results.....

On a lighter note i had my birthday this week. I really am extremely lucky. My family clubbed together to get me a studio background along with the supporting stands so now i can do portrait shoots anywhere and know i have the right background. Then my AMAZING boyfriend has bought me a new laptop especially for my photography. So although i feel a bit stressed and down about things just now, i know i have my brilliant family, friends and boyfriend to keep me going. I really am a lucky girl (can i still be that now i'm 24?) xxx

A busy week for Andrea Wiseman Photography...

As its the Easter holidays and i'm off college for two weeks, i've been fortunate enough to be very busy with my photography work. I've had shoots every day so far and have another busy week ahead! Following the Ladies Night in Fraserburgh i've had so many wonderful comments about my work and i really feel like people are starting to see what i'm doing and luckily for me they seem to like it!! :) So here's a little sneak preview of my week...

Ladies Night

Then came 3 lovely dogs..

The ladies at Hush were looking stunning for their shoot

And finally Dylan...

Stay tuned for next weeks shoots!! xxx

I've done myself proud!! :)

Over the past few weeks i've been mega busy with college work as we've been completing our graded unit. This is the unit that will determine our final grade so it was so important to me that i did well. I had originally planned 4 portrait shoots but felt i was letting myself off too easily so booked in another 2.

My models were all brilliant and very patient with me as i'd never done shoots with brand new babies, todlers or women before on my own. It was a brilliant experience and a perfect chance for me to show the lecturers and my fellow students what i'm capable of.

At the end of my meeting with the lecturers they kindly informed me i have an A grade pass, although the unit isn't finished yet, i'm already into the A group. To hear this i could have actually cried! Although i don't think my two male lecturers would liked that so much. I feel like i've finally found my true calling, photography is something i absolutely LOVE and gives me a great opportunity to show off my creative side.

I'd now really love to start up my own business, although i am aware grampian already has some brilliant photographers. But i'm sure there's room for a little one!! ..... xxx

Lindsay

Lindsay is my best friend and my favourite model. She is a natural infront of the camera and needs very little direction. I am so pleased with these final images, i think they look stunning!
